A One Man Operation

SEO conductor is the assumed name for Milton Web Marketing LLC; owned and operated by myself, Brian Milton, in Austin, TX.  Although I use the terms "we" throughout some of the site literature, SEO Conductor is currently a one man operation.  This page is here to make this clear, as it is not my intention to deceive anyone or make the business appear to be a larger entity than it is.

In fact, it is my intentional business model to keep this business small and personal. I work closely with clients on a contractual basis offering comprehensive SEO campaign management. I chose the name SEO conductor to reflect the fact that I am one person directing multiple efforts for your site. I do the majority of the ongoing work on your site myself, but I do outsource some aspects such as the graphical design of new sites.   Although I outsource the web design work, I have established good working relationships with professional designers and will be actively involved in the planning, execution, and quality control.

I will always be your immediate contact and interface for all things related to your website and campaign. This eliminates many of the inefficiencies and barriers that can occur when businesses have to deal with several different organizations to achieve a goal. I have seen the difficulties and quality concerns that can arise from an uncoordinated effort.

We Build your Site with SEO in Mind from the Start

Some businesses spend large sums of money to have a website designed first, and sign up for SEO later as an afterthought. They fail to realize that the architectural design and usability of the website is a critical part of effective SEO. In this scenario, the hired SEO company may find that there are real obstacles to implementing the needed changes. They may have to work with a poor site design or maybe even an unresponsive web hosting company.

SEO conductor's Business Model

We work with small-mid size businesses looking to improve the effectiveness of their website. SEO is a labor intensive job, and we believe that a sustained effort of 40+ hours a month for the initial campaign is best to produce favorable results. By their very nature, search engine optimizations do not provide instant results, and their effectiveness builds over time. For this reason we work with initial contract periods of 4 months and then re-evaluate whether to renew, scale back to a maintenance contract, or end the campaign. Because a successful campaign is extremely labor intensive and SEO conductor is a one man operation, I must limit the number of clients that I work with. I strive to keep only a handful of clients at any given time so that I can invest the full attention that is needed to make the campaign successful. As a result I charge what I believe is a fair rate for an SEO campaign of this level and this also allows me to avoid having to take on smaller piece mill SEO and other work that might take away from my ability to fully invest time in a client's campaign.
